Turn Leasing Opportunities Into Results for Property Owners and Residents
The Dallas–Fort Worth rental market continues to create opportunities for professionals who understand real estate, respond quickly to prospective tenants, and know how to turn interest into signed leases.
PMI DFW Properties is looking for a motivated, organized, and results-driven Leasing Agent to join its growing team and support residential rental properties throughout the DFW area.
This opportunity is designed for a professional who combines sales ability, strong follow-up, market awareness, and exceptional customer service—while helping property owners reduce vacancy and achieve stronger rental performance.
About PMI DFW Properties
PMI DFW Properties provides professional real estate and property management services across the Dallas–Fort Worth market, including residential property management, leasing, commercial property management, and real estate brokerage.
The company works with property owners and investors who need reliable support in managing rental properties, attracting qualified residents, reducing vacancy, and protecting the long-term value of their investments.
As a Leasing Agent, you will become an important part of that process—connecting available properties with qualified prospective residents while supporting the goals of both owners and the property management team.
The Opportunity
The Leasing Agent manages the leasing process from the moment a property is ready to be marketed through the placement of a qualified tenant and execution of the lease.
The role combines lead generation, sales, property showings, prospect follow-up, application coordination, and lease execution.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing multiple prospects and properties, and moving quickly when a qualified leasing opportunity arises.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management & Leasing
- Respond promptly to prospective tenant inquiries from websites, phone calls, Zillow, Realtor.com, social media, and other approved lead sources.
- Pre-qualify prospects according to established rental criteria.
- Schedule and conduct property showings.
- Clearly communicate property features, rental terms, application requirements, and qualification criteria.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects before and after showings.
- Help convert qualified prospects into completed applications and signed leases.
- Maintain accurate leasing records within the company’s CRM and property management systems.
- Communicate leasing activity and market feedback to property managers and property owners.
Property Marketing & Presentation
- Help ensure available properties are professionally presented and ready for market.
- Review property descriptions, photographs, pricing, and marketing information for accuracy.
- Publish and maintain listings across approved rental platforms.
- Monitor listing performance and prospect activity.
- Identify opportunities to improve property presentation, pricing, or marketing.
- Provide feedback when a property is receiving limited interest or showing activity.
Showings & Prospect Experience
Every showing is an opportunity to create confidence and move a prospect closer to a decision.
The Leasing Agent will:
- Conduct professional property tours.
- Highlight features and benefits relevant to prospective residents.
- Answer questions accurately and professionally.
- Follow up after showings.
- Gather feedback regarding pricing, property condition, location, and other leasing considerations.
- Identify recurring objections and communicate market feedback to the property management team.
Applications & Lease Coordination
- Assist prospective residents throughout the application process.
- Confirm applications are complete and submitted according to company procedures.
- Coordinate screening and approval processes.
- Communicate application status and next steps professionally.
- Coordinate lease execution and required move-in documentation.
- Work with the property management team to create a smooth transition from approved applicant to resident.
Help Reduce Vacancy and Improve Leasing Performance
A strong Leasing Agent does more than schedule showings.
The role requires understanding why a property is—or is not—attracting qualified prospects.
You will monitor leasing activity, days on market, lead volume, showing activity, and prospect feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
When appropriate, you may recommend adjustments involving:
- Rental pricing
- Property presentation
- Listing quality
- Marketing exposure
- Showing availability
- Prospect follow-up
- Lead conversion
The objective is straightforward: help qualified properties lease efficiently while supporting the owner’s investment objectives and providing a professional experience for prospective residents.
